Poison dart frogs get their toxicity from their diet of mites and ants — captive-raised frogs on different diets are not poisonous. The wood frog survives winter by freezing solid: its heart stops, its blood stops flowing, and it thaws out in spring.
The Frog offers a moderate challenge: it has both broad areas to clear quickly and fine details that reward a careful hand. Start with the gouge on large negative-space areas.
